Proposal 1 : Open Terrain

The Logo :  Open Terrain
A flexible identity built around movement, connection and shared outdoor experiences.

The StompGear logo is built as a compact, grounded wordmark with a clear contrast between weight and openness. The heavier “stomp” gives the identity a strong, physical presence, while the lighter “gear” introduces clarity, utility and ease of use. The lowercase structure keeps the brand approachable and human, avoiding an overly rigid or corporate tone. Its rounded forms create warmth and accessibility, while the overall horizontal construction gives the logo stability, durability and practical versatility.

Paired with the open arc, the wordmark balances strength with community: a solid base supported by a graphic gesture of connection, openness and shared movement.

From individual points to an open community.

Individual points come together to form an open parenthesis, a graphic gesture that expresses connection, inclusion and shared movement. Its open form reflects a community that does not close in on itself, but remains active, welcoming and expandable.
Within the wider visual system, the gesture can evolve and occasionally close, but its core meaning begins with openness.

The point system is used selectively as an expandable graphic layer. In editorial moments, it can create rhythm, openness and movement, while circular image crops introduce different terrains, people and outdoor experiences.
It is a flexible device, not a mandatory element across every application.

Across social media, the identity can move between product, community and campaign-led communication. The wordmark, point system and open parenthesis are used with different levels of presence, allowing the brand to stay consistent without becoming repetitive. StompGear can be bold, practical or atmospheric, while still feeling part of the same visual world.

StompGear is built around a simple idea: adventure should feel open, accessible and ready to move.
The wordmark gives the brand a clear and confident foundation, while the open parenthesis introduces a more human and symbolic layer. Built from individual points, the gesture suggests people, places and gear coming together around shared outdoor experiences.

Its open form is important. It does not close the brand into one terrain, one activity or one type of adventurer. Instead, it creates a flexible visual language that can move across snow, desert, water, camping, hiking or everyday outdoor use.

The point system extends this idea when needed. It can appear subtly as a brand detail, expand into a more graphic layer, or disappear entirely when the image or message needs to lead. This keeps the identity consistent without becoming repetitive.

Together, the system positions StompGear as practical, community-driven and adventurous, with a brand presence that feels light, open and adaptable.

Proposal 2 : The Meeting Point

The Logo :  The Meeting Point
A direct identity built around connection, movement and shared outdoor experiences.

This direction gives StompGear a more direct, compact and energetic identity. The italic wordmark suggests speed and movement, while the symbol above acts as an abstract meeting point.

It can be read as two people, two paths or two moments of energy coming together before moving forward. The result is a bold, sporty mark built around connection, shared adventure and outdoor momentum.

The connection idea expands into the visual system. Split compositions can bring together landscape, gear and people, showing StompGear as the link between preparation and adventure. Here, terrain and equipment meet in one composition, reinforcing the brand as a connector between material, movement and outdoor experience.

This direction translates well into clear, direct communication. The system can move from product-focused posts to brand statements and practical community prompts, while keeping a compact and recognisable visual presence.
The symbol works as a small point of connection, and split compositions help bring together terrain, equipment and movement. The result is a brand language that feels active, practical and easy to scale across social media.

Built to Move Together,
Across Every Terrain

This route is intentionally more direct and compact. Instead of building a wider graphic language around the symbol, it focuses on a bold wordmark, a clear connection mark and a practical visual system that can scale easily across product, social and digital communication.

The symbol above the wordmark acts as an abstract meeting point, suggesting two people, two paths or two moments of energy coming together before moving forward. Paired with the italic wordmark, it gives StompGear a more active, sporty and immediate presence.

Across applications, the system connects terrain, equipment and movement through simple compositions, from split-image layouts to product-led posts and brand statements. The result is a clear, flexible identity built for people, gear and adventure in motion.
