When you realise that teaching is, in fact, one of the most precise ways of learning — a space where knowledge unfolds through dialogue, listening, and shared uncertainty.
Form, Sequence, Texture is an editorial design workshop developed and taught by Odisseu and Ana Resende, invited by HEI Bréquigny (Rennes) within the Erasmus+ programme. The workshop brought together a single mixed class of students from HEI Bréquigny, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, and Vilniaus Kolegija, fostering an international and collaborative learning environment focused on contemporary editorial practices.
Structured around the principles of form, sequence, and texture, the workshop approached editorial design as both a conceptual and material practice through analysis, discussion, and hands-on experimentation. Alongside the pedagogical programme, the graphic identity of the workshop was also developed, ensuring conceptual and visual coherence across its educational and communicative components.
