Odisseu¹ (Odysseus) is the alter ego of freelance designer Luís Sousa Teixeira. Lives and works in Portugal, between the city of Porto and Faial island — Azores and works in the fields of graphic & digital design. Whether it's books, publications, exhibitions, branding, or websites, he brings ideas to life for individuals, businesses, and cultural projects, all while teaming up with design studios around the globe. And on the side, music isn’t just a background beat—it’s the very pulse of his day-to-day.

PT Odisseu é o alter ego do designer freelancer Luís Sousa Teixeira. Vive e trabalha em Portugal, entre a cidade do Porto e a Ilha do Faial — Açores, e o seu trabalho estende-se nas áreas do design gráfico e digital (livros, publicações, exposições, branding e websites). Colabora com vários estúdios de design, empresas e instituições culturais. Numa nota pessoal, para Odisseu, a música não é simplesmente um som de fundo, mas uma parte constante do seu dia a dia.

¹Odisseu has its eyes set onto the horizon, ready to set sail and go. It is a journey, a place, an idea: an adventure into the unknown. The joy in the experience: in the in-betweens, through the endless possibilities of time and space, sound, words... the image(inary). A way of experiencing through exploration and questioning. Tension between strangeness and familiarity. A path to find and be found.

The fundamental outcome of embracing change is transformation. Though it can be uncomfortable, change is what spurs growth. It teaches us to let go of the past and look toward the future; transcend the fear of the unknown by appreciating the adventure of the journey ahead. Lcetting go and letting oneself go.
